Absolutely agree that bright colors are what you need to combat gray days. When I moved into my Paris flat it was summer and I was upset that the living room was painted a bright, sunny yellow. Come winter, I appreciated it for the first time. Paint colors are like beverages--you want a steaming cup of hot chocolate when it is cold and dreary, not a glass of iced tea! Brrr!!!
