As per too often, too many close up shots to really get or understand the layout very well. From what one can see I like the space a lot. Especially appreciate and like the unique rope light and the one hanging from the wall next to the bed. The bookcase wallpaper over and next to the fireplace was a fun and unexpected detail. Just brilliant in so many ways. I love how your place is so stylized and curated without being overwhelming. The color choices as well as the furniture and accessories work extremely well together. As far as the deer head goes people who seem so concerned about an animal having been most likely shot, killed, eaten and its head stuffed ending up on a wall should be as concerned about how badly animals who are being raised for human consumption are being treated until slaughter today. Glad to see I'm not the only one who complains about all the closeup photo's of stuff. This tour was impossible to get an idea of what the loft layout is. With so many extreme closeups of things and just stuff all I can say is disappointing. The few DIY projects looked interesting and could have been fun to see more photo's of, especially the desk. Looks pretty amazing from what we or I am able to see. Obvious attention was paid to the detailing and staying on trend with the time period but also a huge disappointment of not getting to really get a good understanding of the overall layout because of all the closeup photo's. After the owners writing about installing a swimming pool that would compliment the original architecture and design of the house we aren't even shown photo's of the pool other than a couple of shots where it's barely seen. I love AT but the extreme closeup photo's on so many House Tours leaves me more frustrated than satisfied. In any case from what we are shown the house looks pretty amazing for the most part. Love it all but the placement of the couch facing the book shelves... Why not have it facing the other "sofa"? Nothing wrong with the black couch backing up to the shelves (just leave enough room to access the shelving behind it. The way it's placed in the photo's makes it look like you didn't have room for it or didn't want the other sofa so just left it where it sits.
