I'm sure version 2 will be better! An alternative would be to only use 2 front legs and screw the wood top to the wall with small "L" brackets (recessed from side edges and painted wall color to disappear). DIY Dilemma: When Home Projects Fail |

Thanks for comments. To Lazy Lurker - not sure it's my best design, and it is a slice of wood, but it NOT over-lacquered, not lacquered at all, in fact: varnished and paste-waxed. The real point is the platter, which allows for almost any design. It is kept dust-free through dusting, like other furniture and accessories. ;) El Diablo by Joel Scilley Design Showcase 2010 |
