I started using Soap Nuts for some of my laundry.

I'd start the love affair with fish.

I marinate the steaks in a bit of olive oil, maybe with a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce, and a bit of some kind of rub (lately it's been Montreal). Hand 'em over to hubby to grill 'em rare and we fall in love all over again.

I am more than ready to broaden our horizons though!

I'd like to try ribs on the grill--I mean gosh, isn't that a staple?--but I'm terrified of undercooking. Bingo!

It wasn't really a mess *I* made, but we had a sudden warm spell in the middle of winter after about a foot of snow. It brought rain and a great deal of melting, and as a result, our basement flooded ... the basement we had just had carpeted a couple of months ago. It required a lot of towels, copious use of the dryer, and the eventual purchase of a dehumidifier and a shop vac.

We recently got a dog. I have always had cats, this is my first dog, and I was always kind of under the impression that cats shed more than dogs do. Oh merciful heavens was I wrong! We have little dust-fur-puppies under every table, bed, chair and desk-like object. These are what I would remove. Gleefully!

I have to stick with lemon meringue, although honestly? We could skip the meringue.

I'd absolutely knock out some salsa for my hubby's famous nachos!

I'd probably grow a variety of little flowers in there. I love fresh, living flowers :)
