Most of the elderberries here in the states have poisonous leaves and it is questionable wither or not it is a good idea to use the flowers for the same reason because it could be easy to get some of the leaves in with the flowers. When wild foraging one should weigh the risks carefully.

We did this when we cleaned out the rest of the kitchen things.I love how much easier it is to find things quickly.
I do have a passion for dishes, a big one at that but I managed to get rid of some very random things that had no purpose.

growing up my Mother was an Antique Dealer and my earliest memory is from when I was about 4 and I went to a rug auction with her. There were all of these beautiful rugs every where.I kept wondering if any of them had been Aladdin's magic carpet.

As a person who considers herself and family to be Urban Homesteaders I find that this article misses one of the core ideas of Urban Homesteading, the idea of DIY.By paying others to do your work for you a person really is not getting the point at all.
