hmmm... for my people, sippy cups are the on-the-run drink solution up to age 3-ish. And glasses (of the non-sippy variety) are for at the table. It's super-cute, though! Use A Craft Punch To Make A Sustainable Sippy Cup Remarkable Home |

My kid *loves* getting mail, and is plenty old enough to understand that sending something to a relative is likely to yield a reply. So while it's maybe not super necessary to send mail the old-fashioned way, I know at least one little gal that is tickled to do it. Custom Kids Stationery from Dear Hancock |

My people, from pretty early on, understand the idea of needing a "sponsor". We mostly employ the idea at my folks' house (with a pool) -- when they're small, the kids learn to name their sponsor and check in with that person to make sure they're okay with (and aware of) the sponsorship. I've found that my people feel totally comfortable on the public toilets if I sit first and have them sit between my legs on the toilet. They're not going to fall in or have the sensor trip early or whatever. It's a little trickier in a skirt/dress, but still do-able in a pinch. And you don't have to carry anything around. :) Cushie Traveler Folding Padded Potty Seat |
