hmmm... for my people, sippy cups are the on-the-run drink solution up to age 3-ish. And glasses (of the non-sippy variety) are for at the table. It's super-cute, though!

Scary halloween decorations make my kids cry. Seriously.

As much as I love jars, and love real stuff for kids, jars with beads? And scissors and stuff? They'll get dropped, y'all.

Pressed pennies are our go-to souvenir. They take up no space, cost $0.51 (that means each kid can get their own) and they're fun.

My people, from pretty early on, understand the idea of needing a "sponsor". We mostly employ the idea at my folks' house (with a pool) -- when they're small, the kids learn to name their sponsor and check in with that person to make sure they're okay with (and aware of) the sponsorship. A 2 year-old at a creek needs a sponsor.

Ooh, and some sort of a white noise function (battery powered radio set to static, maybe?) to disguise unfamiliar "night music" from the bugs and critters can be a big deal, too.

I've found that my people feel totally comfortable on the public toilets if I sit first and have them sit between my legs on the toilet. They're not going to fall in or have the sensor trip early or whatever. It's a little trickier in a skirt/dress, but still do-able in a pinch. And you don't have to carry anything around. :)

Do y'all use the bed? I'd assume you do, or it wouldn't be there... but still, it sure takes up a lot of space. I, like everyone else, love your Beatrix Potter prints. They're sweet!
