I reuse milk cartons, paint them and make them into bird houses. I also take pictures on the "happy baby, organic baby food" boxes, cut them up and make a memory game. (I had a lot of them on hand, and the pictures were really cool)

Near our kitchen, I have my daughters play kitchen (once, an old bathroom shelf w/ cabinets found at garage sale) so while I cook, she cooks. Next to our bookshelf, is her miniature bookshelf and in our living room is a handmade book sling and basket to put random books or toys that creep into our living space. ( I can clean up so fast) If she wants to join in what were doing, its there for her.
