I use the magic erasers all the time, especially when my green cleaners cannot do the job. I wear gloves of course as I don't know what is in it. Magic Erasers: Toxic or Terrific? |

I won't be cluttering anytime soon, my stainless steel fridge won't allow for any magnets which is fine by me. I am learning to declutter- and that alone feels great, one step nearer to my not being a packrat. The Endless Fridge Debate: To Clutter or Not To Clutter? |

Well coordinated to say the leasr. I could not have done better! Dark colors actually recede, so don't be afraid to use. Nicely balanced and tied to together. Jeff's "Modern Primary" Room |

Beautifull color charts. I have a few myself, as an artist and interior designer, they are indespensable. Color Charts: A Historical Perspective Imprint |

Yes, these designs are simple and are stunning created by the contrast of the rough wood with the smoother surfaces such as the smoother adjacent walls and metal. I have always loved timber in any form used in the home. Always brings a fresh feel inside. David Clark's Modern and Rustic Woodwork |

I myself have a serious ant problem. I got the exterminator in and he sprayed the anthills outside and said they would be gone in a day or two. That did not work as I saw the ants crawling about after I dug them up with the spade. Money down the drain there. He did say to get rid of all the wood stumps that are lining the gardens etc. as that is what they seem to like. I understand from my ant that cucumbers do the trick. I will give that a try as well as the borax. I saw the boxes at the supermarket here. Thanks for the tips that work. High Hopes of Eradicating Ant Problem |

Remember when my uncle used to deliver milk bottles for a living as a kid. Great light fixture. Well thought out. Love the use of found objects used/placed in a different light!(pardon the pun) I would certainly place this over the dining table. Bottles of Hope by Peter Sid Design Showcase 2010 |

Hanging artwork is a lot of work. Take it from me, my husband and I hung 14 pieces this summer in one shot. Just remember to get the artwork on after you have basically designed the whole house and placed the large pieces. Another option would be to place family photos in a book and use it as a coffee table feature, there any many websites where you can publish the photos in a book, this is easier than keeping in a shoe box or trying to place on the wall. 5 Unconventional Ways to Display Family Photos |

The garden fire pit is getting better in terms of design, quality and safety. It is key to have a screen on top of course as the winds can wreck havoc on the neighbours. Gas, propane and even the eco-friendly bio fuels are a great option for cleaner burning. Remember to keep an eye on it always of course. Fire Pits & Outdoor Fireplaces Roundup |

The outdoor fire pit has really taken off. The selection of modern fire pits for the backyard now are just incredible. I particularly love the Solus product. Although extremely heavy, as it is concrete, it will be cooler to touch than a metal version. If you purchase this product or similar, make sure your patio is structurally sound, you don't want to lose the deck and the fire pit!!. Simple, clean lines and beautiful of course to behold.
