I won't be cluttering anytime soon, my stainless steel fridge won't allow for any magnets which is fine by me. I am learning to declutter- and that alone feels great, one step nearer to my not being a packrat.

Yes, these designs are simple and are stunning created by the contrast of the rough wood with the smoother surfaces such as the smoother adjacent walls and metal. I have always loved timber in any form used in the home. Always brings a fresh feel inside.

Remember when my uncle used to deliver milk bottles for a living as a kid. Great light fixture. Well thought out. Love the use of found objects used/placed in a different light!(pardon the pun) I would certainly place this over the dining table.

Hanging artwork is a lot of work. Take it from me, my husband and I hung 14 pieces this summer in one shot. Just remember to get the artwork on after you have basically designed the whole house and placed the large pieces. Another option would be to place family photos in a book and use it as a coffee table feature, there any many websites where you can publish the photos in a book, this is easier than keeping in a shoe box or trying to place on the wall.

The outdoor fire pit has really taken off. The selection of modern fire pits for the backyard now are just incredible. I particularly love the Solus product. Although extremely heavy, as it is concrete, it will be cooler to touch than a metal version. If you purchase this product or similar, make sure your patio is structurally sound, you don't want to lose the deck and the fire pit!!. Simple, clean lines and beautiful of course to behold.
