I recently bought a book on making kimono, so I'd love to make a few in non-traditional punk rock fabrics that kimono aren't usually made of. I also have a lot of little baby yukatas and cheongsams from when my daughter was a baby and I'd love to make a quilt for her out of all the Asian fabrics, so I can preserve her baby clothes, some of which have tiny rips and will never be worn by a baby again. Also, we had a Marimekko store open here recently where you can buy any current Marimekko fabric and sew your own curtains, etc. to match the Marimekko accessories they have in stock. So I'd totally deck out my pad with bold prints and curtains and pillows. Thank you for the contest. I drove off with my cellphone sitting on top of my car. Smashed it to tiny bits. I think this act of supreme stupidity happened because I was juggling keys, coffee and phone and set the phone down so I could open the car door. Stupid ,stupid, stupid. The feature of the Oreck brand that appeals to me is thet they're supposed to be excellent for removing small particles from the air and picking up animal dander and dust. Since I have a small daughter with asthma and environmetal allergies, anything that helps get rid of the irritants and particles floating around would be a huge asset to our family. I've always liked grilled cheese, but I switch the cheeses and kinds of bread around, so I don't get bored. Sometimes it's muenster or sharp cheddar, sometimes it's rye or pumpernickel or even challah. It depends on my mood. I love this weird espresso flavored soda from New York that they sell at my local Italian market. If I had a home soda maker, I'd be experimenting with all kinds of weird gourmet flavor combinations. For example I love a certain candy that's violet flavored. I wonder if you can make a soda that tastes like candied violets. I love the blackboard idea without the commitment of actually painting with blackboard paint. Not only are these stylish but they're functional and have a multitude of uses. Are we allowed to express a preference for the round ones? While both sets are great, the round ones remind me of a row of portholes. I like it. Thank you for the contest. I love dark roast coffee. if I could, I would mainline it directly into my veins. I'm also a big fan of fair trade products because they offer a fair price to the farmers, they offer pre-harvest credit to help farmers survive during the growing season, and they support sustainable farming practices. I've always wanted to make an actual chocolate souffle but I'm intimidated by all the slapstick chocolate souffle accidents they show on tv. For a similar reason, I'll probably also never flambe anything. I like my eyebrows and want to keep them.
