I like the idea of a mobile, something hanging into the space rather than on the wall - whether it was decorative, or some large chandalier/pendant lights of different lengths cluster arrangement.

Interesting. The furniture, and I think almost any furniture that you would put in it, would be instantly overwhelmed by the architecture. Amazing tho'.

The Mighty Boosh, if you like way-out British Comedy. Deadwood: if you can handle the language, you'll find amazing characterisation. Firefly is just so enjoyable. Walking Dead (a relationship-driven zombie drama?) and Parks and Rec for chipper, girl-powered comedy. Ron Swanson.

Why is globalisation seen as the answer? I think it would be much more 'green' and in line with sustainable practices to have local people make homes for local families, rather than spend lots of money shipping them off all over the place...localisation is a much more positive for local communities.

Before, before, before. As above, love the backsplash, and the bamboo blind etc idea. Also could have just painted the shutters the same blue and it would have looked great.
