Replies protesting that there is no right way or better way to live, and that no-one should judge others' choices to live in the burbs... keep in mind that as residential density goes down (suburban living) carbon emissions, high quality agricultural land destruction, and storm water runoff per capita skyrocket. Higher density living in the city or even slightly higher density new urbanism type developments= better for the planet!

I would add Charlestown to this list. Great parks, waterfront at the Navy Yard, and a number of good places to grab a coffee/beer/dinner. Also, we're at the end of the freedom trail with the Bunker Hill Monument and the U.S.S. Constitution, and the historic fabric of the neighborhood is very nice.

It might also be helpful to identify the carpenter bee which looks very similar to a bumblebee except with a shiny, non-fuzzy abdomen. I am the bee loving daughter of a bee-keeper, but when I discovered these guys chomping on my house they had to meet an unfortunate end.
