We'll I would prefer to live where it's 80F or less all summer, but since that's not my reality, I'm an AC girl all the way. I keep it on and at 76F unless the outside air temp falls lower than that.

I agree with the other posts regarding decluttering and saving your money for the reno.

That said, I think you're cabinets would look amazing in a medium grey, but painting cabinets is a heck of a lot of work just to tide you over for a year.

I say timeless, but I'm biased. There are a heck of a lot of pastel colors in my house. Seven years later I still love them and find them soothing.

The rooms in my little house are so small that often the furniture only fits comfortably one way, in my mind anyway. However, I am continually surprised by what a big difference rearranging accessories makes. I just moved some things around a few weeks ago and it makes me happy every time I look at the new arrangements.

This is a great renovation, well done. I love that you kept the original cabinets, I have a soft spot for them (and have the same ones).

I have that radio, not the red cross version, and love it. Although we haven't had a power outage since I bought it, it's still come in handy for using while working or hanging outside, when I want tunes in my tiny bathroom or the basement, etc. Charging via cranking is a bit cumbersome in that it takes a lot of cranking, but the solar charging is awesome!
