I used to work on classic cars with my Dad. Torn seats were common and way to expensive to just replace. We used to use an automotive leather upholstery repair kit. There are lots of them out there but don't just buy the cheapest one. Try to get a professional one. I don't remember what brand we used to use, but this one looks a lot like it. http://www.leatherrepairkits.com Best Way to Repair Leather Chairs? Good Questions |

How about a border with ferns? My Mom used a fern patterned border in her kitchen and it actually looked really nice. Is There Such a Thing as a Good-Looking Wallpaper Border? Good Questions |

I bought a natural color canvas cover from Circa 50 for a thrifted butterfly base. The cover cost more than the base but I'm not complaining. I can't say enough good things about the sturdiness of the canvas and stitching. Now I need to save up for a matching footstool. Resources for Butterfly Chairs & Covers |

I'm with you BX. I got a large gash on my head when I was about 5 and I didn't panic because my Mom and older brother didn't act alarmed. I think just keeping a cool head is much more important and teaches the value of keeping calm in an emergency. A Red Washcloth In The First-Aid Kit |

North Bay, I have a litter trained dwarf bunny too. My biggest challenge was the tv and all of the game cords. I went thrifting and found a nice cheap sideboard and cut a hole in the back and put all the cords inside. As for the lamps I zip tied all of the extra length of cord and put it tucked behind the lamps out of reach. I'm too afraid he could get through those cord protectors so keeping them out of reach has worked really well. All Creatures Great and Small: Designing with Less Expected Pets in Mind |

Oh wow! All of this is terrible. Why do designers keep damaging their brands by selling stuff like this at the big box stores? I would rather save up for the good stuff. New This Week: Kate Spade at Bed, Bath & Beyond |

You can buy cyanotype paper at most craft stores in the kids projects section. It's about ten bucks for a few sheets if I remember right. Create a Collection of Cyanotypes without Chemicals Canadian House and Home |

Can anyone tell me how the photos in the second picture are framed? I love the look of a border-less, unmatted photograph looks but I have no idea how they do it. I have a 20X30 that would look great framed this way. Artful (and Art Filled) Homes of the Midwest |

My parents live in a mountainous area so everyone has wells and everyone uses those rocks to cover their artesian wells. Otherwise it's just an open crock of water that anyone could step in or it get debris in it. This is what they were originally made for, not just as some strange plastic yard decoration. 13 Products That Are Unnecessary and Wasteful |
