I've fallen in love with 8tracks.com recently. It's user-made playlists so you can listen to music by genre with some very specific tagging. The one I'm listening to right now was tagged "indie, summer, beach, feel good, happy"

We don't really know our neighbors due to a language barrier. It took awhile for them to stop parking in our driveway after we bought the house. One time I had to ask them to not hang out in our front yard. The other side is a bunch of college age kids that often have parties with live mariachi music. I love my house, but I don't love where it is located.

I'm just going to wait a couple months and let the other companies figure out how to re-create my Google Reader experience. For all I know, we'll convince them to not close down in the meantime.

I like this idea. Right now, I'm keeping our rolls of gift wrap in a giant camping backpack and it works pretty well.

It was the first time I've hosted Thanksgiving and it was just one more step I didn't have time for. Brown and Serve worked out just fine.

I haven't been sick on a major holiday but I remember one year as a child when my mom, aunt, and uncle were all felled by the flu over Christmas break. My cousins and I had a great time with almost no supervision because the adults couldn't get out of bed.

You should make the playlist in spotify and post the link so that we don't have to go to the trouble of doing it ourselves.

My husband's family always plays Pitch. My family plays Phase 10 if they have enough time and Skip Bo the rest of the time. They also like Trivial Pursuit but some members of the family feel left out.
