Unless there have been technological advances in the real of automatic snack/beverage bar systems, those things can be super annoying.

Typically, if you remove something to take a look at it and replace it 31 seconds later, you get charged. If you rearrange the fridge contents to store something of your own, you get charged. As you can probably guess, getting the charges removed can be quite some work.

As noted in the link posted by lcvarner, what is French Toast in the US is commonly referred to "Pain Perdu", or "Lost Bread", in France.

That's because the traditional recipe calls for stale bread or, perhaps, is actually a great way to make use of stale bread instead of throwing it away.

While the use of white sandwich bread (pain de mie) is no longer uncommon (the scene in Kramer vs Kramer may have started that), using other kinds of more typical French breads or even brioche can bring a whole other dimension to the dish. Less eggy, more crunchy, for example.

One of the simplest and FREE methods I've found to track a mobile device is to use Google Latitude.

Google Latitude is a service that uses your mobile device's location information together with Google Maps - it works on any mobile device whether iPhone, Blackberry or Android.

Most people use it to share their location with friends.

The thing is, you can also add the Google Latitude gadget to any iGoogle webpage. So if you lose/misplace your phone you can go to any browser and check the location of the phone - it even tells you when the latest "ping" was in case it was turned off.

I actually used this method to successfully retrieve a phone that I'd misplaced after a long night of partying.

Best part of this ... it's Free!
