LOL. My facebook profile has nothing there but there is no way I'd give my password to anyone - what makes any employer think they have that right?

But maybe it will scare some stupider people into thinking before they facebook.

Way to void the warranty. I wouldn't be surprised to see this feature in the iPhone 5, assuming they could find a way to run it without compromising the battery life.

For iPads and iPhones, I was told by Apple store employees that Applecare could be purchased up to a year after the purchase. But Applecare is awesome and worth every cent for any Apple product.

I think you should have included the fact that for people who struggle to adapt and understand how the iPad works, Apple runs instructional courses.

Excellent. Now stick those so-called 'geeks' in front of some coding.

Yeah, having Wiis and iPads and iPhones and whatever else isn't 'geek'. It's consumerism with a nice heaping dose of hipster and a sprinkling of smugness. And how on Earth does being tech-aware affect their parenting skills?

These smug, self-satisfied, tech-aware parents are why we have seven year olds with facebook accounts and iPhones. It's terrifying, actually.

Uh, I think the 'outdated' comment was referring to the hardware rather than the white casing.

You couldn't pay me to attempt this on anything electronic.

Seriously? Hollywood has officially run out of ideas. I thought Battleship was bad, but this is rock bottom.

To me, it absolutely looks llike an interior designer put this room together. I think that the room is nice, but the white shelves/seat look slightly out of place. The bedspread is gorgeous, though.

I was lucky enough to have a go with one, and I have always felt that I'm hard to understand but Siri had no problems with anything I asked - from the silly questions I asked, to finding out info and making notes. There were several things I couldn't attempt as it was someone else's phone (such as alarm, reminders, texting etc) but overall, I was impressed. But since my iPhone 4 is less than a year old, I'll be waiting for the iPhone 5 (I still find it hilarious everyone expected an iPhone 5 when the iPhone 4 was barely a year old. It would have been a terrible business decision.)

Eh. Some of the ideas are great and I wish I had thought of them in high school - a pocket/bucket stuck to the door for bits and pieces like lipgloss and safety pins, and one of those two dollar stick-on lights would have been awesome in my high school locker. However, I personally wouldn't spend anywhere near that much on a locker I'd only have for nine months out of a year. I think the only thing in my locker was a series of post-its.

My desktop Mac is shut down every night when I got to bed. During the day it goes into sleep mode when I'm not using it.

My laptop and netbook are put into hibernation. The difference simply comes down to power - the laptops have their own batteries if they are in hibernation, whilst the Mac has to remain plugged in during hibernation.

iPhone, MSi Netbook and, if I'm going on a long trip, my Nintendo DSi and my ipod and headphones. Oh, and my Morphie for my phone.

How Much Tech is in Your Bag?

I have a mix of tech - a Toshiba laptop (that's on its way out, sadly), and a MSi netbook gives me a combination that I find necessary and easy to work with. I think cross-platform definitely helps for designing

I don't have a specific set budget for tech. If it's a necessity - like a laptop - I save and then set myself a price limit, and prioritize what I need in a computer before I purchase anything. That often means sacrificing in other areas.

I generally use my phones until they die, rather than renew them as soon as the contract is up. I am not interested in treating technology as disposable - my current laptop is more than five years old and I prefer to have things repaired rather than replaced.

Everything is paid for in cash or direct deposit or lay-away. I don't like credit cards or store loans.

Firecracker, I don't have the Luau, I have the double Candela, and they are fabulous. I've had them roughly 12 months and am really impressed with them. I'm hoping for a pair of Luaus for Christmas.

On the flipside, my sister got the children's ones (they look like aliens) and she didn't follow the same instructions I received (only charge them when they are completely drained) and we've found (after 4+ years of reasonable use) that one of them has pretty much died.

I think as long as you follow the instructions, they are a worthwhile investment. :)

I'm guilty of all except 1,4, 7 & 8. My laptop is plugged in whenever I'm at my desk, no matter the charge level. I was also always taught that it was a really bad idea to snuggle in bed with laptops because the bedding can make them overheat.

8 repulsed me. The hygiene aspect of using a touch screen on the toilet made me gag. In fact for a long time I thought it was a throw away joke on Scrubs. I find it really disturbing there's a percentage of people who are so plugged in that they can't even relieve themselves without having instant entertainment in the bathroom with them.

Am carrying sanitizer with me whenever I have to use public computers from now on.

I actually found the comments you made more offensive than the graphic. You can't justified website content by an info graphic claiming your viewers use the stuff you write about. I also find it suspicious that Facebook didn't appear on either side.

But then I have two PC laptops and a Mac desktop. Clearly the wild card.

This is no joke - that dresser has been on the Posh Tots website for years. If you want a total culture shock, check out the Posh Tots cubby/playhouse section. Or the Posh Living animal furniture section. It's just craziness.

Also, I'm positive you could find someone to recreate that for less than half the price PT want.
