we have darker laminate flooring (a dark brown) and it shows everything. dog paw prints, my birds pellets. i vacuum every single day and they always end up looking dirty by the end of the day. they are nice looking though when they are freshly mopped and the dogs haven't gotten to them yet. though it is worse in the spring when everything is more wet. the best "mop" i've ever had was getting a steam mop. those are the best things ever. cleans with just steam and leaves hardly any water behind. our floors look so much cleaner than with a regular mop and cleaner. i was totally amazed and threw out all my mops.
