I've never had luck using honey in drinks, unless the drink is served hot. otherwise, it just makes a gooey mess in my shaker. (maple and ginger syrup, however, work fine for me.) Nice drink! After trying once with the posted recipe, I decided to up the lemon juice to 1 oz, and lower the ginger syrup to 2 tsps. Not something I want to drink every night, but definitely one I'll keep in my repertoire.
