I would suggest a much lighter version of the gold color of the stove. My home is painted such a color and it is wonderfully soothing. I found that I have that color in most of the paintings and other art work in my house. The gold walls will tone down the color of the stove and it looks wonderful with white (your cabinets). Put the sofa/seating area and the swing at opposite ends and "turn the corner" between them with a small dining table and chair set. Put a small metal locker or other type of cabinet in the space taken up by the shelf unit. It will extend the counter with the stools and house the toaster oven. Your couch looks like a perfect 50's color to me. Pillow colors could pick up the wall color very nicely. A crisp white with that aqua tone would be great also. A fun print with both of those colors would look great. What Color Rug & Pillows to Complement Sofa Color? Good Questions |
