Do you have to put the whole base in the freezer or does the bucket come out? I have a similar type that came with super limited instructions and never mentioned freezing the base, but it is enormous and I can't put it in the freezer on most occasions. We had a late Christmas this week with my family and I made two of these thinking there would be plenty for people to nibble on during the day. It was gone by the end of breakfast. It was so incredible I think it is a must for every brunch and every holiday. I didn't think the cardamom was overwhelming at all and it blended beautifully with the lemon and both complimented the sweet filling. It definitely needed the glaze to finish it out. The only change I made was to soak the cranberries in mirin because I don't have brandy. Worked just fine! Thank you (again) for an amazing addition to my table. Recipe: Holiday Breakfast Wreath |
