Am I the only one who thinks that looks like human hair? Maybe I've been watching too many crime shows like Hannibal.

Thanks for the info about the bed. And bummer, I'm in Seattle. I'd love that bed, especially since it has drawers built in.

Very cozy. Where did you get that bed?

VITTSJÖ may not scream IKEA to the author, but they scream laundry room or garage to me. I don't think I could put something like this in my living room or bathroom. A little too cold and industrial for my taste.

Looks good. I like that green and the stripes. But I did like the vases on the right side rather than the booze. The speakers, by the way, seem out of place. Square speakers would've worked better, in my opinion.

Oh my gosh, why did you get rid of those beautiful children? They looked so great in the before pics, but they're gone in the afters. Sorry, just making fun of those "why did you get rid of the beautiful brick/wood/wallpaper/etc." people.

Great renovation, by the way!

I like to clean a little bit every day rather than trying to do it all at once. So one day I might do laundry including the sheets, then the next day clean the bathroom, and the next day clean the floors, etc. Every day I spend a maximum of 30 minutes cleaning something.

I also like to clean as I go. Like after a shower I'll squeegee the walls and tub which prevents mildew build-up, and after using the sink I'll wipe the area around it and the stainless steel to prevent water spots. These little cleaning jobs take literally about a minute and saves me a lot of time later.
