Hi everyone,
Heidi and Gene here :) We're glad people enjoyed our home tour and thanks to all for taking the time to comment. Here are some answers to the questions you've had.

@bettyboop
They are from the slidingdoorco.com.

If you are interested in collecting geometric/minimal art, I suggest first getting familiar with the works of artists in the field before attempting any purchases. Here are a few blogs/sites that have a great eye for upcoming and established artists working in this field:

Hi again, in regards to the Tolomeo, you have great taste :). In regards to your framing question, I've found the most cost effecitve solution is to purchase the material online where you can get them at wholesale. Then establish a relationship with a framer in your area and have them assemble (float mount, put together framing, etc) your pieces. Most framers will be happy to just charge you labor and your cost will be a fraction of the retail framing cost. I suggest these frame suppliers:

http://www.metroframe.com/
The absolute best supplier of museum quality wooden frames. Pricey but worth it, if your framing something of value.

http://www.frankenframes.com/
Offers solid maple gallery and floater frames at a great price and offer discounts for volume.

http://www.smallcorp.com/
Best source for the welded style frames that screw in from the side, and custom acrylic shadow box frames. They only sell to the trade though, so you'll need a framer friend to order for you.

@shannont
The tiles are called Mikado, from this Italian company called Ergon.

Thanks for your comment, you're hit the nail on the head in regards to the too clean feedback. I wish we could say that our place always looks this spotless, but we do try to keep things clutter free. Here's a couple tips we use:

1. Lots of closed storage, i.e. Besta burs in the living room, and Besta wall units in the office, give more than enough space to hide all your clutter.

2. Crunch bags from the container store (see nursery image #25 under wall units) We can't express how useful these are in not letting Wyeth's toys over run our home. We keep a few around the house, and at the end of the day, all they toys and mess goes in and the parents get their house back.

We've had a few emails requesting more info about the office built-in, there is a more detailed set with instructions our flickr page:

Thanks again for ALL the comments, enjoy your Labor day!

Always great to see Albers on display, but those are from the Formulation:Articulation portfolio not the Hard Edge Soft Edge portfolio. :)

Hi this is Gene and Heidi, thanks to all for the kind comments. I didn't really think they would post my submission as is so didnt really put a lot of thought to the text but will be a bit more in the full tour.

Quick answers to some of the questions and comments:
@ chicity1126- The cabinets are Besta Burs from ikea :) There is actually a lot of ikea mixed in my decor, but sometimes harder to spot.
@billyRes- Thanks love the metaphor :)
@miamilori (and others interested in the Albers tables) best place is ebay and craigslist. I got 1 set from there for around half off, and if you check allmoderns clearance section, I was able to pick up a second set at a steal for close to 65% off.
@nycpuggirl-The artwork above the blue couch is the 16 Constellations series by Max Bill. If you google it there are plenty of great detail shots of the series on the web.

I'll be happy to answer any additional question once the full house tour is ready.

Thanks!
