In Australia, have a look at Hardwick & Cesko. David Harwick is a fantastic Melbourne based furniture designer that is renowned for his tables called the Miss Cesko. BUT he does a new desk called the Mr Desko which not only have cable management, but built in speakers and it folds away to hide all your unsightly paper clutter. He also does a few ranges of furniture for a Queensland company called HB&Co. Very nice gear!! 5 Office Desks with Built-In Cable Management |

I'm from the tropical north of Australia. There are no plantations of pine tree's here that aren't for timber and as you can imagine most of the tree's here are tropical, so getting permission to cut down a tree from the forest isn't an option either and even if you did it'd be a fig or a gum... I always have plain white shiny gift wrap on hand. I use it each year for Christmas and also for birthday's and any other special occassion. This year I'm using rafia in a teal dye colour. Last year was natural coloured twine and dry fig leaves with messags written on them. Next year I plan on doing a ribbon around the middle in sheer metallic silver. So versatile. Love it! well done freehanding the trees but i really don't like it. not that the before was better but it's just not really an improvement in my eyes. a blank wall with 1 small artwork would have been nicer... or a end table with a tall vase.... i dunno maybe it's the stuff on the end of the stair railings. :S Before & After: Photos & Frames To Tree Tops And Then There Was Home |

I like the avocado cutters. They are helpful. We get our avo's from one of the numerous farms around our city for a couple bucks a half kilo bag. So of course that means we eat a lot of them and it's nice to have a tool that makes it super easy. I mean people have specialised ham slicing knives don't they. Leave my avo cutter alone! My 785sq/m garden is planted with 100% free plants. Every single plant was a cutting or a pull out from friends and my green thumbed mother. Succulents are the best for this process but orchids (especially crucifix or ground orchids) are brilliant for this process too. The only dosh I spent on my garden was my railway sleeper bed edges for $10 per 3m length. My $100 budget garden was heaps of fun and super easy to create... mind you it does help when you mother has an acre of dense rainforrest garden to pcik stuff out of. :P BUT I would also see pretty plants hanging out of peoples gardens and take a small clipping they wouldn't notice. :D Starting a Garden Without Spending a Ton of Green |

I think if it was dark grey with peeling paint maybe it would look an awful lot like the Addams house, but I think it's gorgeous in this colour. I recently painted half my house this colour. What an awesome colour to decorate with and won't it look fantastic at halloween where they COULD make it intentionally like the Addams house. :D Black Painted House: Love It or Leave It? |
