Love the kitchen .... really love the dress!!! SO CUTE

She's asking for suggestions, not whether you agree with her. I like the mini martini idea - a traditional one and then maybe a sweeter version for those that don't like martinis. I hope it's fun!

Love chicken thighs! I just started using Cooks Illustrated's method - where you heat the pan in the oven, and then put the (bone-in, skin-on) thighs, skin-side down - they turned out fantastic! So simple but so delicious.

I love chia seeds and I use them to replace flax in smoothies, etc. (I can't stand flax seeds.) The product packaging for the brand I purchase calls them "Aztec Super Food," and that makes me chuckle every morning.

Ha, I just came here to recommend Smitten Kitchen's brown butter rice krispie treats, but Brooklynnina beat me to it! They really are delicious.

Love the quirkiness!! Going to echo the "too many closeups" sentiment. I've noticed this as well in other house tours. AT, if you just included several wider shots, the closeups would make more sense!

I cannot endorse the recommendation for Smitten Kitchen's spinach and cheese strata enough.

My mom recently made roasted celery (along with carrots and zucchini) and it was delicious! I just went and bought a bag of celery yesterday for the sole purpose of roasting it.

Here is another cranberry white choc biscotti recipe that is AMAZING! It started out as a Christmas cookie, but my family/friends now request them all year long. I chop the white choc and add it to the batter (instead of drizzling). I also reduce the sugar to 1c. It pains me to say this, but I disagree! I cannot stand these chocolates. I bought a bag last week and used them to make Joy the Baker's brown butter toasted coconut chocolate chip cookies. I opened the bag and snacked on a couple and thought there was an extreme "fake"/artificial taste to them. I used them in the cookies anyways, and the same artificial taste transferred to the cookies! I should have known better, but I really wanted to make those cookies. :)

As an aside - I am in no way a snob when it comes to chocolate chips or callets. I've used Trader Joe's and other store-brand chocolate chips with no problems. I was extremely disappointed with this product.
