Polyurethane your painted wall.
then wall paper it.
years later, it comes off cleanly, leaving a smooth surface that you can either paper again, or simply prime and paint.

thanks for the floor painting comments - i appreciate it. old house. wood floor everywhere. ( i know, I know, i am lucky) some of the bedrooms and the office are just so bad and beat up that I think i might paint one of them. thanks for ideas.

I'm thinking a totally white fllor to ceiling office might be kinda nice - maybe a colorful ceiling, like orange, or sky blue

I'd lvoe to hear from people who have an open shower like this one what they think about it. would you do it again? It seems to me water would splash out even though it is onthe far side, and it seems like it woudl be chilly/drafty on a cold morning, with no door or curtain to contain the heat of the shower water. Anyone? I;m considering it for a bathroom redo, but...

you can even use Elmers glue, its a form of PVA, a type of glue, and its safe for books. not perfect, but safe

big party found me at BigLots last minute looking for any style plates for use that night and for future parties. found plain white. Liked them so much they became our everyday ware, and the original dishes we had are now our extra party dishes.

for bits of white and yolk in your scramble: don't mix the eggs first.

Just break them all in a bowl, pour them into a fry pan, and mix in the pan. You get colorful egg mix with bits of cooked yolk, bits of cooked white and some that has mixed together. Also, each of the 3 has a tiny bit of different texture.
