I'd put a small desk or table and chair, maybe stocked with postcards and stamps, if you'll be hosting guests. A mirror above would be nice too.

Lovely! We have that same rug in my son's nursery. I like that he won't outgrow it; in fact, I'd love to steal it and use it elsewhere in the house.

The wall colors are perfect! Great job!

Could you turn it into a shelved piece? Do the same thing, but half the legs and attach another topper to the bottom, then add one to the top using the remainder of the legs.

Seems a little flimsy, the thin legs especially. But a nice idea.

Lovely! The curtains are great, as are the artworks and toys on the shelves.

I've found similar chevron prints at Fabric.com. Just search for Chevron and you'll get tons of options. And search online for a coupon code and you'll get some good discounts.

I'd say don't paint over it! It's so unique, and could possibly be a selling point for a family. Plus it's easy for a new homebuyer to just paint over anyway, since most likely they'd be painting over white walls anyway.

Maybe try an auto body refinishing place? Someone I knew had some metal lawn chairs sandblasted and painted at one.

I love her work, and am happy to see it featured here! I own one of her wedding banners and love looking at it in our living room.

We tied some balloons to the ceiling and I made a "tennis racket" out of cardboard and duct tape for my son to hit them with. It was a huge hit! He has played it every day this week.

I tried out these products recently and the smell is just awful! It's so overpowering, and doesn't really smell like lemongrass or mint. I was surprised by this because I tend to like Method's products and scents.

I live near Bethlehem and it is such a lovely city at Christmastime. The simple decorations and the Moravian stars are magical--and I finally learned how to fold paper ones last year! They look great on our own Christmas tree.

As much as I want to like them, I'm not a fan. They just don't seem warm and homey to me, and the ones I've seen around our neighborhood are too bright.

Thanks for this round up! I made a book page wreath inspired by Lindsay's post (the first one). I love how it turned out!

3. I'd like to jazz up my stainless fridge and my kitchen in my 1903 house. We can't afford a renovation at the moment, so I think I could do something cool with these.

I'd use this to grow some cat grass so my cat would stop eating my plants. Or I'd put a red geranium in it and place it on my balcony.

Definitely strawberries, mostly for cereal in the morning but also on top of vanilla ice cream.

I'd definitely use it to suck up cat litter. It makes its way up from the basement to every corner of the house.
