Betta: agree on that, i don´t like having to use a key to open and close, not to mention that the key sometimes dissappears in mysterious ways!
I fixed it by taking away the skew that holds the lock mechanism, and putting strong magnets to the door. As doorknobs.

When I was a teenager I woke up in the middle of the night, and in the wall infront of my bed i saw a portrait of a man, where no portrait should be..it was embossed, or more like in 3D..and alive! He was looking out of a frame, and his face was not scarry or anything, reminded of Jean Michel Jarre, a beautiful man, and he looked down at me with a serious but friendly look..and i got so shitty scared that i pulled the blanket over my head and did not dare to look again! Eventually i must have passed out or fallen asleep, because next i remember it was morning.
Have tought a lot about this, and i am pretty sure that i was not dreaming. I wish i´d had the courage to hold his eye and find out what he wanted.

There´s nothing so depressing as a badly keept aquarium! That is really bad feng shui!
I have a huge one, with two poor Pacus...and finally! ....i got myself together and gave up the ambition. Found them a new home, their new keeper is gonna come pick them up in a few days. And i feel such a relief, all the space im gonna win, and time!
Also, im playing with the idea of selling or giving away almost everything i have except the most personal things, some clothes and my books. Would be such a bliss to live in a decluttered, almost empty home!

SherryBinNH, fellow crafter, this might be something for you:

But i must say, that the main thing that makes it difficult to keep it tidy is that all projects are ongoing...i cant be creative if i have to keep putting things away, On the other hand, its so inspiring to start of with a clean area..So the ideal is having all the crafting gear and ongoing projects at hand, but maybe not on the table.
In kindergarten they have these shelves where the kids can save the things they are working with, big deep shelfs.

On Clearing The Table

great tip with the trays, will try out!
But my table gets overloaded with all kinds of papers, i am a heavy reader, so books and all kinds of readables (to often printouts of articles and such) is my main problem.
Been thinking about putting up some kind of system on the wall, like the ones ikea sells :
http://www.ikea.com/se/sv/catalog/products/30159499
but im afraid it will just transfer the mess up the walls!
Another ide for all these printouts that i want to save are binders. But then one has to put up a routine sorting the papers into the right binder.

That is the dark side of consumerism.

Personally, im not very intrested in peoples personal stuff and intimate information....the ones that are, always find ways to get hands on it.
But furniture, fabrics, wood, utensils etc etc. should only be personal as long as you can make use of them.
I think its criminal considering stuff like that so personal that you have to dispose them for garbage (and depending on where you live most probably burning or other kind of destroying) rather then returning them to the flow.
The material used, the effort to create it, all wasted. Just for the sake of privacy?
