Love it! Looks a whole lot like what I am doing in our nursery - right down to the blue on the walls and pops of red. Where did you find the maps? I plan to paper the inside of a bookcase with them but am having trouble finding them. Thanks and great job! Desmond's Tiny Travel-Themed Room My Room |

What great ideas! I love the idea of taking a walk after dinner, helps remove that "guilty" feeling when you dig into a decadent dessert after a (most likely) decadent meal. Fun Ideas for Serving Dessert Hospitality |

Freezy cold fizzy water from our SodaStream for my husband, room temp filtered water for me. I have also heard about not drinking water with meals, think it does indeed have something to do with the temperature, turning fats into solids, etc. Food-Lover, I prefer my water room temp and sometimes will have a cup of warm green tea at dinner. Tastes great, easier on my stomach, and you get all those green tea benefits. I recommend! Flat, Bubbly, or Flavored: Do you Serve Water with Dinner? |

"Do what you want with your interior, but when you have to subject passersby to such a bold statement, it seems a bit discourteous. Soon you'll have a street of rainbow houses." You should be so lucky! Many Southern cities like Charleston & Miami are famous for their rainbow colored buildings. Have you ever seen Charleston's Rainbow Row? FANTASTIC! How Bold Would You Go? |

Gee, I guess my husband and I aren't the only ones on a veggie kick these days! We've been starting our day with a veggie smoothie - we use Kimberly Snyders recipe but there are tons out there. We make a big pitchter of it on Sunday then re-blend 1 cup smoothie and 1 cup water each morning. It took a while to get used to it, and I still don't think it tastes "awesome," but as someone above said, knowing I've choked it down helps me eat better the rest of the day and I LOVE that its 2 servings of veggies. I recently trained for (the hard part!) and ran a marathon and my go-to recovery drink was chocolate milk. I too thought it sounded like an odd choice at first but it was refreshing, easy on my stomach (Gatorade messes me up) and, frankly, delish. The science is there too. As someone else said, I'd rather drink milk than chemicals. Chocolate Milk: Banned from Schools, Now Stocked in Gyms? NPR |

Well it's not too terrible, but I did move on the weekend of the President's Day blizzard (DC) in 2003. That meant we were stuck in our brand new apt with only 2 chairs and no cable for 4 days - the sofa delivery folks and Comcast couldn't/wouldn't deliver in the snow. One chair was a papasan and one was an old wingback so we'd frequently rotate chairs depending on if we were eating or trying to be comfy. We watched the only DVD we owned (Zoolander) over and over ... What's Your Worst Moving Horror Story? |

What funny timing - I JUST took barkeeper's friend to one of ours last night. It didn't really help (those were some intense stains!) but after reading everyone's comments I can forgive myself, move on, and never do that again :-) In Praise of Battered Baking Sheets |

My fiance has collected change for years - he literally had a hundred pounds of change we had to schelp up 2 flights of stairs when we moved in together. It turns out it was upwards of $4,000 (no lie!) and he used it for my engagement ring. I've since stopped complaining about the change :-) 10 Reasons to Have a Change Jar |
