To add my own two cents...I have had a huge number of people come and go from my life in the past few years. Except one. My best friend lives across the country from me but we still make time to skype for a few hours every week. I would drop everything to help her out in a tough situation and I know she has my back in reverse. Even though she's the only real true friend I have, I'm luckier than most.

Been TV less for a year now and it was the best choice I ever made! I feel so much less driven by consumerism and I do healthier, more productive things with my time! And, the longer i go without watching TV, the more I lose interest in all kinds of media entertainment. I used to watch Netflix all the time to supplement the loss of cable and now I find I watch maybe one movie a month!

Lovely space -- full of character but organized too. Where did you get the perfectly sized bookshelf to the right of the stove?

I love this! Beautiful and cute--very calming colors on the walls. It perfectly matches my style as well.

It's a bit laughable that toasters can even be $200+.

Phew what is with the over-criticism omartiger and leadingedge? This place is cute, and I'm especially impressed because of how much she was able to do with a post-college-student budget. Not all of us can afford CB2 and super-expensive antiques! Anyways, I LOVE the bedroom--the colors, the furniture! Please tell me where you bought the white chase in the bedroom! I have been looking for that very thing for my apartment!
