I'm not sure about the square feet, but I have a $750 one bedroom in a two flat built in 1915 in Chicago. The apartment boasts hardwood floors, large dining room that opens into the living room, and a huge pantry. Downsides: small bedroom and bathroom. The building also is much longer than the surrounding homes, so I have a tree at every window and lots of light. Survey: How Much Is Your Monthly Rent or Mortgage? |
