I add room-temperature cream cheese to my cream of potato soup instead of cream. Its delicious. I imagine you could do the same to other creamy soups.

Ohhh I love my tangle, it lives on my (home) desk and gets use regularly. I got mine at a corporate training event where everyone was their materials, play dough, a koosh ball, and a tangle.

I frequently make home made as a meal accompaniment. But for sandwiches, I prefer a sliced grocery bread, I always loved Oatnut as a child and still do.

Keep an eye out. Trader Joes carries this spread, they call it cookie butter or spread. I hadn't been able to find the Biscoff or Spekuloos elsewhere.

At first, we had trouble finding things to put it on. My delivery method of choice is pretzels (also perfect for nutella) and my husband likes it on white bread with marshmallow fluff (disgusting!).

My mom's Bread Pudding with Hard Sauce is the best. I prefer it to most restaurants, especially since it doesn't add things like white chocolate to make it sweet. Supposedly the recipe is from the old Columbus Lazarus Restaurant, but I'm too young to have ever been a "lady who lunched" there.

I make this recipe, but I substitute caramelized shallots for onions. Sooo good. My husband and I can eat way too many of these.

We had an ice cream cart come to our wedding, and it sounds like it was quite common for our vendor (the famous Jeni's). Check with local ice cream shops and see if they have some sort of set up to take to fairs and etc. Our ice cream came to approximately the price of a wedding cake for the same amount of people.

Not a recipe but:
If you throw hot-cooked chicken breasts in the stand mixer for 30-60 seconds, it gives you the nicest shredded chicken.

We've been getting a ton of bugs even from the small stack we bring in on days we are actively burning a fire. I moved out of an apartment with those invasive stinkbugs, and have found them in our wood pile. I'm terrified of letting them get inside our house.

So I'm a don't. No matter how pretty it is.

We also just bought our first house this winter and am furiously prepping for our housewarming/open house this weekend. It's been a month since we moved in, we certainly have had lots of visitors, but we wanted to have an official party for friends who dont just drop in. We did a lot of research determining the difference between an open house and a housewarming party and decided to have both. Mostly because I wanted to make sure family & family friends would come over, but then theres ample time for our closer friend to really party later into the night. Im sure some presents will come, but we certainly arent expecting them.

$570 for a 900 sf 2-bedroom in the Clintonville area of Columbus, Oh. There are apartments with better amenities, but you cant beat the price and the giant private roof terrace.
