A real kitchen with a real person that can cook accessible food....What a pleasure to see such un-manicured joy. I'll take this kitchen any day. Leela & Dave's Imperfect Kitchen Kitchen Tour |

I am going right into my kitchen and baking an Ollie's Chocolate Cake. (with Coffee), icing it, pouring myself a big glass of milk, putting a candle on it, blowing it out and celebrate the fact that I am alive. A lovely post. Baking is nourishment in the most basic form. When stressed I cook; when threatened to the core....I bake. Great post. To Cook is to Heal: Recovering in the Kitchen |

So it's not perfectly sanitary/antiseptic. It's college and great that these people are taking the time to think about their food and their lives and their environment rather than ordering dominos. Thanks for a great post and showing another side of life besides the groomed kitchens that some of the posts seem to prefer. There is a lot of love here and it comes across in the pictures and text. Great job....I'll come to dinner here any night! Kitchen Tour: Katy's Cooperative SoCal Kitchen |

Far better to light one candle than to curse the darkness. I like the idea of looking for new ingredients and will try this. I don't live in a big city, but when I shop and ask for something at a produce or greengrocer they get engaged in the process. And good cooking is all about paying attention--making and eating. I will try the ramps and thank you for steering me to new ingredients that might add something to my life. Good job. Restaurant Recipe: Wild Ramp Lemon Risotto from DOC |
