A friend of mine also did something similar: she put the labels on the top of the can and used the magnetic bottoms to put them on her refrigerator door. It's a great way to save counter space in a small kitchen.

Having nothing to do with the aesthetic design, the Citigroup building had a potentially disastrous engineering mistake and a shameful ethical mistake in its history. That's why it loses in my book.

Wireless routers and cards use more power than hardwiring. You may save on materials, but power consumption also goes up.

I agree that the community network seems like a great idea.
