looks great. We used something like this as inspiration for a custom art work that we made with first graders for their school's art auction. I have very strong memories of helping with the dishes every night I was at my grandmother's house. Soapy water, bubbles, splashes and making a mess while 'helping' were what I remember best. I can't tell how your windows open but if they slide up, our professional childproofer put "super stoppers" on our windows ( like these http://www.safebeginnings.com/WebComponents/Catalog/Public/showproduct.asp?id=611&cat=Childproofing). We have 3 kids and 1 large dog and have dark hardwood floors in our house (partly on the advice of the 'designer' at the flooring store who told us they hold up well and don't show scratches). They are beautiful and hide the scratches well but they show every speck of dust and furballs. Constantly sweeping. My mom has light floors and many many dust bunnies which you never notice!
