id suggests one made of reclaimed timber, i've recently made a new desk this way. ALthough its mainly to help with cable management i think it looks just great as well.

Definitely thinking of going for a Lego dock! they look awesome

And using we and our is pretty standard on blogs like this. It creates a sense of comfort and lets the readers know that their not just talking to a faceless business/corporation.

I saw this a few days ago on Lifehacker and thought i'd have a go. I've only got a small space to work with so at the moment it's a lil cramped but will be getting a mac mini shortly to free up some desk space. I've also done an instructable for it!
