I'll concur with the baking soda and vinegar posts. Only thing I add to the mix is castile soap and tea tree oil and I can make a variety of cleaners. All of this are fairly cheap and a lot more environmentally friendly. 10 Must-Have Essentials for a Well Stocked Housecleaning Kit |

The only problem with copper cookware is that it reacts with acidic food. Most of it is lined with a nonreactive metal these days but I'd still keep a couple pans around for making tomato sauce. Other then than, I give copper cookware 2 thumbs up! How Can You Not Love Copper Housewares? |

I'm the executive chef at a catering company and I probably temp a good fifty things a day. I love my Thermapen, the speed and accuracy can not be beat.
