Thanks so much for featuring my tutorial! AliceM is totally right - technically my chair is a swivel rocker but not a glider. BUT, as was already mentioned, you can absolutely get a mechanism that makes your chair a proper glider if that's what you prefer. Convert Your Upholstered Chair Into A Glider Honey and Fitz |

I pinned this same image on Pinterest a couple of weeks ago and have been meaning to blog it. Think of all the amazing creatures you could make with just a jigsaw, MDF and some chalk spray paint! Stegosaurus Chalkboard Paper Box World |

Awesome! We have the real deal (from CB2) in our nursery but I love this tutorial! It was definitely a bit of a splurge for us. This DIY looks great for a fraction of the price. Make An Awesome Over-Sized Abacus Anything Pretty |

I have been obsessing over these baskets since I saw them in their catalog in the fall. But they are so stinkin' expensive!!! And the baskets really aren't that large for the price. I know it's Restoration Hardware but geez. Industrial Baskets and Liners Storage |

I keep diapers, wipes and ointment/powder in a caddy thingy on the changing table surface (I have this one in slate and I love it). Within easy reach I think it's key to have more diapers and onsies, socks, pjs, etc. Stuff you'll likely need to change the baby into often and don't want to be running to closet to get. The top drawers in our changing table are dedicated to those items. All other clothes are in his closet. Hope that helps! Setting Up A Changing Table Good Questions |

Love this room and so happy to see someone else with a crazy bright yellow dresser :) I couldn't agree with you more on the littlest details turning out to be your favorite. That is definitely the case with our son's nursery as well. We have these vintage bass elephant hooks that make me ridiculously happy every time I look at them. Great job on the room! Knox's mom here again. Thank you all for the support! The brass elephant hooks are a vintage find via Etsy. The glider was an eBay find that I had reupholstered and the crib bedding was largely DIY because despite some exhaustive searching, I couldn't find cute, non-girly yellow & gray bedding. I made the bumpers and the skirt. The fitted sheet is by Dwell Studio. Knox's Vintage Modern Safari Nursery Small Kids, Big Color Entry #23 |

Hi guys! The rug is from West Elm and the yellow Moroccan pouf is from John Derian but you can find it a few places. Overstock even has some in other colors at some incredible prices. Thanks so much for the nice comments! Knox's Vintage Modern Safari Nursery Small Kids, Big Color Entry #23 |

I agree that you need to go all/mostly white with the furniture to counterbalance the brown walls. I think I would keep the bedding and curtain treatments mostly white as well with just some throw pillows and coverlets in whatever accent color you do (you could do aqua & a bright pink which would be a nice playful combo with the brown). Good luck! Brightening Up a Brown Room Good Questions |
