For a so-called "guide" to a cheap music studio, you never mention any prices for the items; I know they vary depending on location, but a range or starting price would have been useful. Get An Instant Music Studio On The Cheap |

@Contrabass, that Exposure section isn't necessarily exposure compensation; manual exposure modes would show similar scales. But I agree with the rest of your comments. Final Frame: The Photography Cheat Sheet |

So... step one is make a list... Can you give me those 29 steps on a list please? The video wasn't as useful as a list would have been, but you can't easily set lists to music, I guess... 29 Ways to Stay Creative Lifework |

I guess if it truly is "time to lay off that auto-setting" you may as well go ahead and learn what all those settings do... and leave the "extremely useful" cheat sheet behind. Sorry, but as pretty a chart this is, it's usefulness is questionable. Final Frame: The Photography Cheat Sheet |

A little bit of dust isn't going to show up much on a picture, except for a slight softening of the image. Smudges and spots are more much more noticeable, and the lens pen in the pic above is amazing. I've seen them remove greasy fingerprints with no trace left behind. Neutral density and polarizer filters are about the only ones you want in front of the camera these days. Its easy to soften an image when it starts off sharp, but not so easy to go the other way. I don't care for too much post processing of digital images, myself, but if you start off with a quality shot in camera, the rest is artwork, not photography. ...back in the day when I used to shoot Kodachrome (really miss that stuff) I'd be happy if ONE of the 36 exposures resulted in something I was personally pleased with. Having been an amateur photographer since the 70's (I was a kid back then) I would love to see more digital cameras styled like older Nikon SLRs. Leica can do it, why doesn't anyone else?
