Can someone please explain to me how to read Clocks like #3 as I have found so many designs that I enjoy BUT bugger if I knew how to read them! I did ask my Fiance but he is the worst at explaining things.

@BRENNA EGAN - 'hang them upside down!' That was the best laugh I've had this week.

Thanks for sharing your home on AT. My favourite feature in your home is the oversized white lamp on your desk in the bedroom! Drop. Dead. Gorgeous.

If you own the Condo, then remove it.

If you rent the Condo, disguising it would be easier.

Holy smokes! That is a massive ironing board. Sorry, but I've never seen one so long and so wide before. But, an excellent tip.

Deep Heat, Eulactol Heel Balm, Vicks VapoRub, Sleeping Tablets, Vitamins.

I don't take sleeping tablets and vitamins often, but when I'm in busy mother mode I tend to forget about myself. That said, I have one First Aid for us adults and one for our children.

@NIC M - I have always suspected this. For the price range, in Australia, where else can beat Ikea? Four years ago, we went to a furniture store to order our two couches, add our choice of fabric plus delivery it increased by 50%. This year, we may have to go Ikea.

Outside of Australia, consumers have so many choices and not just Interiors, even Supermarkets. What is the Australia's fascination with limiting the population's choices? This is why I shop online from overseas more and more. More choices, greater savings and better service.

at Home?

Our rental home has zero storage so we have to use these hanging racks/wardrobes. In 2.5 years we're on our third rack, it's the best of the three. We chose this rack because it has two rails and it's white (my fave color). I'm thinking of using garment bags for uniform color and dust issue.

Regret: Paying for a 2-bedroom instead of a 1-bedroom. Never trust a friend who says she will move in when she has NO job!

Learned: Make sure there is a peephole eye viewer already in the door! Not realising there was a hole in the door for 48 hours was just amateur.

Lessons Learned From My First Apartment Setting Up Home

Firstly, this is not uncommon in some countries. Secondly, if her parents are anything like mine, they won't switch. Thirdly, not knowing how many other rooms in the house this presents quite a challenge.

If it were my family situation, the 20-year-old boy would sleep in the family/lounge room but dress + store his things in the same bedroom. My sisters and I slept on foam mattresses each and stacked them in the mornings. Then there could be an extra closet and study desk used by all three.

I'd rather have beige wall-to-wall carpet over off-center windows any day! Especially when you have 4 off-center windows in one room. Argh.

This is called a 'wet room'. In my opinion, it is not the most desirable of bathrooms. If I saw this in a House For Sale, I would not consider it. In my experience, it is associated with hospital mobility wet rooms like these http://www.apollo-plus.co.uk/tile.htm

Even with a shower curtain or toilet folding cover, it will be a b*t*h to clean!

However, if you're that desperate for one, someone can point you in the right direction.

We didn't bother to subscribe here in Australia, Pay TV. As TV is now digital, we didn't bother installing an aerial to enable the Digital TV Switchover. Using the set top box we only have clear access to two TV channels and three radio stations. My fiance watches his sport online. But really we can't be bothered and there's more to do than watching TV all day anyway.

We have TV to watch our DVDs - I prefer our kids to watch their favourite shows from DVD because we were quite disturbed by TV adverts targeted at kids and the frequency of them! I prefer to watch the latest film on DVD because of the ticket/food/drink prices only to sit in a damaged seat or a seat with rubbish.

I enjoyed this kitchen overall, but it's the fact that you've opened up certain areas to show us how you really use those interiors! Great work.

I wonder if Jeremie when coming home just stays in until the next day because of that sliding door? Gee that was annoying. However, I loved the space at ground level but not the bed 'nest'. I mean, could you have company?

What I enjoyed most about this property was that two people saw it's potential and created a liveable space that questions the norm. Good on them.

Now if only I could find a stable-sized space in Sydney that's a bargain price.

@Kay - You wrote, 'Eventually the fence will be replaced and we'll create a grass-free edible landscape.' I am all for this idea, but have you checked that you can do this to the front yard in your area?

If your area is quite sunny, I suggest:
