Rural and Rueful, my dog stays in a crate while I am work. That being said, leaving him even in just one room was tried for a few days and promptly stopped as he proceeded to mark every surface area he could find. If you want to send me a check for the dog walking, great. Let me know and I will send you my address. I'm not quitting my job and I'm not getting rid of my dog. When we get home, that dog is treated like literal royalty so I don't feel bad about leaving him in his crate. I have always crated any dogs that I have had throughout my life and have had no trouble with it at all. Oh, and he sleeps on my bed at night.

@Caterplillar, I am STILL crying over your hilarious comments about the hooker shoe acrylic chair!...especially since I SO love the Ghost chairs...but I digress...

I hate too many pillows on anything and pictures of everyone in the family on the wall. It just does nothing for me much to the disappointment of my husband. I've never had pictures of anyone in my family on the wall, but I will put one on a surface.

I do love the "Stay Calm and Carry On" art and will still be buying a big one in a frame for somewhere in my house. I also do NOT agree that just because something has become super popular that would be the reason not to do it. I'm not decorating my house for anyone else's pleasure...I design it for my own.

Wow, looking at the pictures at first, this is not my style, BUT as I kept going through the pictures, I absolutely fell in love. It feels SO comfortable and serene. Something really just calls out to you about this home. ...especially LOVE the eating nook in the kitchen.

What a fun house! I have one of those nightstands from CB2 as well and my only regret as I got it for only $20 was not buying TWO. (:

I used to eat cheese slices when I was a kid and now I can't stand it. I LOVE cold syrup on my pancakes PLUS the pancakes have to be super flat almost like a crepe. I hate fluffy pancakes because they get soggy too fast.

I just bought two of the chairs from West Elm and we use them around the dining room table. They are comfortable and seem sturdy to us. We have not had them a long time so I cannot speak to their long term sturdiness.

I love this tour. Although it is "old school house" vibe, it still has some great modern touches, I love the orange and I'm in love with that lamp. Great job!
