people coming over is a great motivation, whenever we've got a house party coming up or friends/family coming to stay, it does give you that extra push so that you are proud of you home. If you do it well, don't make everything look too new, and your guests will think your house always looks this good.

I hate seeing nursery's like this. All about what the decorator trying to be grand and show it in the design. where's the fun element? where the cuteness element? Where's the personal touches?

this is gonna sounds weird, but I have two styles on handwriting, so I hold my pen or pencil differently accordingly. I would agree that the photo is the 'correct' way to hold a pencil, and if I am writing a cheque or filling out a form, this is how I would hold it to produce neat flowing text, but the 'graffiti' writer in me has always held it more like a claw type thing, allowing more control of the writing instrument to produce more creative text. ( too much time on my hands I think)
