So the moral here is, use portable furniture like Armoires, Kitchen Pantrys and anything else than can be moved out to return the room to a bedroom for resale. To spend $28K to turn a space into an office is a little out there. By the way you can have a TV in an office space, if your using it as a Monitor.

There are many grays, green, pink, brown, blue.
Find the hue that matches your counter or back splash and go from there.
You did not mention if your furniture is contemporary or traditional as the previous owner. You could go with a Tobacco on that wall and then fan out to a lighter green gray. Aubergine is also a great color with green grays. Make your dining area dramatic and you will play down the kitchen. I would not put things on top of the cabinets. Paint the small area above the cabinets dark to give the appearance that your cabinets go all the way to the ceiling so you don't call attention to that area.

I have this machine. We moved to Mexico almost 3 years ago. A friend of mine had one, had the ice cream and fell in love. We like just the basic recipe with 2 Heath Bars, it is our favorite. I made an ice cream pie, purchase a graham cracker shell, fill 3/4 with ice cream, let stand a bit in the freezer and empty a can of pie filling and then drizzle chocolate fudge. Makes a great company dessert.

Is that the only wall the TV can go on? You did not photograph the entire room.
You window boxes are very deep, you could do something interesting in them. The left window shows the emergency stairs. Why don't you, as someone suggested, put up frosted contact paper or Domestications sells up/down pleated shades, low cost. IKEA sells very inexpensive unhemmed sheers. Paint the wall a color for interest and put some artwork there. Get rid of the cardboard box sitting on the floor. You need help!!!

This is your problem. You have bead board cabinets, there is nothing wrong with them but you need to change the handles , make them more retro like SS curves or rods. Your other problem is the white appliances, they just don't go, if they were black the SS would probably look okay. I would go with the pink and grey glass tiles to make the kitchen have a look of the 50's.

I would keep your lovely dinnerware and mix and match. I love to buy 4 dinner plates of different types, example 4 black square plates, 2 black pasta bowls. Different food looks good on different plates. I have plates to eat tacos on, plates to eat steak on. You get the idea. Have fun!!

Make them yourself, get lamp wire and the socket at any hardware store. You can paint them any color you like. IKEA also sells just the light kits for hanging pendants.

Are you in love with your headboard? It does not go with your bedding. Make a slip cover for it.

I would paint the wall dark behind the bed and the rest of the room the lightest shade on the card and then tie it together with a border on your drapes the deep color behind your bed.

Your place is great. I would paint the white doors on the console, so they disappear. Center the TV. I saw an article about painting a dark stripe the size of the console up the wall, that makes the TV disappear into the wall. If your wall is grey, you could paint it Charcoal, or maybe deep deep orange. You get the idea. The Mannequin in the corner is a great piece, also diverts the eye from the TV. Ditch the coat hanger.

Another idea, since the front door opens right into the living room, create an entrance. Hang a long screen attached to dowels, I did this in a similar situation and it makes a perfect entrance w/o cutting anything off. Furniture stores have great ideas for sectioning rooms off.
