Please be careful about infusing olive oil with garlic. My sister and her husband nearly died of Botulism from a poorly made homemade batch. The maker did not fully dry the garlic before addng it to the oil. The virus was living on the water on the outside of the raw garlic.

Qchan don't capitulate to small children. Wimpy adults who don't want to deal with "fussy eaters" are what cause this problem. I was a picky whiney fussy eater as a child. My mother forced me to eat absolutely everything she cooked no matter what I did. It made me a better person. I will eat a large number of foods and I always have the good manners to eat everything I am offered by my host no matter how distasteful I find it.

I know this sounds counter productive but I think sleeping with my dogs worked like allergy shots. I've been allergic to dogs since I was little (we had allergy testing done for foods). I always had both our dogs sleep on the bed with me but I never showed any symptoms. Which considering we had 2 lab/shepherd/? shedding machines, is rather shocking. When I went away to college I lost that buffer and would get major allergy attacks for the first two weeks I when i came home. I'll take the infinitesimal chance of my dog giving me plague over allergies any day.

I'm a huge fan of the Wholesale Goodwill stores. They have a improbable accumulation of older cookbooks, all for $0.25ea.

The best I've found is an invaluable church cookbook from 1930's. It's chock full of old school Italian recipes.

The amount of primer you need is also somewhat dependent on the sheen of your paint. Glossier paints tend to have less coverage than flatter ones, metallics are nearly always translucent.

Also, if you're strapped for cash you can save some money by base coating with a flat version of the same color Home Depot's America's Finest is particularly cheap and thoroughly underrated.

I've had the same pair of super dark wash jeans for years. Every time I wish they were a little darker I go out buy a pkg. of RIT navy blue dye for $1.29 at the supermarket and I fix them. You can do it in the washing machine in 15 minutes. And I don't have to worry that there's a petrie dish in my pants.

I would recommend painting with Killz sealing paint. It may not be a low VOC paint but it is incredibly effective at sealing in the nicotine. Also be aware that you may have to rewash everything come summer. I have a similar situation and every summer we have to wash away the nicotine seeping out of the woodwork.

My grandmother used to make Hungarian egg cheese. I know it used milk, about a dozen eggs and cinnamon. Unfortunately no matter how closely we follow the recipe it never seems to come together.

I'm all for using sawdust but beware that it's a natural insulator. it's how they used to keep ice blocks frozen before refridgeration. So the snow you cover up will take twice as long melt. Just make sure you clear as much snow away as possible before laying down your blanket of sawdust.

Do you also remove the parallel or drafting machine each time you convert it. That seems a lot of work.

Does this recipe really supposed to have 2 3/4 cups of milk? I made this and it didn't resemble pancake batter at all it was more like soup and it took twice the listed time to bake

Did anyone else have this problem?

I find myself both an eater and an abstainer. When I'm under high stress I eat less, skipping meals and such. But the meals I do eat are much more decadent than I would otherwise indulge in with lots of bacon, butter and brown sugar.
