@cbr, the title of the post is "Pasta Dishes" so i guess they had to include pasta in all the dishes. maybe they should have added some meat, or blood... that would be more trying. 10 Fresh Vegetarian Pasta Dishes for Spring Recipes from The Kitchn |

@pearmelon, I know it seems harsh but i really feel that persistent tardiness is a person placing themselves before the people they are meeting. in fact i would go so far as to say its a form of arrogance. this is my opinion and that is all. i do not mean to offend just to share. 3 Tips to Help Your Dinner Guests Show Up On Time |

@Charlotte - i'm so in agreement with you. punctuality is a form of respect and if you can't deliver that, then you don't deserve my friendship. (of course this is within reason- small people have their own schedules and we all need to be understanding to that- as long as the parents show remorse and apologise)! 3 Tips to Help Your Dinner Guests Show Up On Time |

I love these. I have stairs like number 2 but with only one beam down the centre. And mine are a lot steeper (we live in an old victorian house in the UK). My dog and my 3.5 year old can manage these stairs without any problems. I can just about get down them in the middle of the night but they do take getting used to. 10 Stylish (& Slightly Scary) Floating Staircases |

tv isn't the same as it was when we were kids. The edits are significantly shorter (3 seconds a shot compared to 20 seconds in the 70s) and the subject matter is also not always suitable for all ages. i cut out all tv a month ago (my son watched an average of 20 minutes a day) and i noticed a significant difference in his temperament and his creativity (for the best). i was being sarcastic. this was my response to all of the judgement from what i presume childless commentators. parenthood is hard enough without people calling us spineless and our children spoiled. what parent actively seeks out to ruin their children? I agree with the comments above. if children don't want to eat vegetables they shouldn't be tricked into eating them- even if they suffer from malnutrition and or starve. By tricking our children into eating vegetables by hiding them or giving them funny names, we might avoid unhappy meal times and struggles, but really- is it worth it if our kids eat a balanced meal?
