Interesting! Maybe it is possible to charge the laptop with kinetic energy. However I guess it would be easier to charge a phone. A Vintage Singer Sewing Cabinet Re-Purposed as a Desk |

Looks better! I would have hidden the cord in the pipes. Drill a few holes in them. The insulation on the wire would be good enough to be safe. The shelving looks really good:) You've Got to Hide Your Cord Away |

My old laptop is totally worn out. One of the hinges are broken and the battery is dead. I've installed it as a music/movie server. With the screen turned off it is a energy saving server. The touchpad isn't working as well, so I control the laptop with my ipod with vnc/xbmc remote. Works like a charm! How to Reuse Your Obsolete Laptop In Creative Fashion |

I was a bit clumsy with brushing off the dust on my left fan. (Just remove some more screws and you can take apart the fan.) I brushed the fan out of my hand and it rolled off the table and fell on the floor. One fan-blade snapped off so I have 12 fan-blades on the left and 13 on the right. I have to shop for parts now. Oh and F.lux should be on the list as well. Perhaps it works the same as Nocturne, but it is more simple. It automaticly changes the color of your screen at night and so distressing your eyes. http://stereopsis.com/flux/ 5 Productivity Utilities We Use, Love, and Recommend |
