Reclaiming the Bedroom: 5 Reclaimed Headboards

Thanks for the nice feedback! The giant letters were purchased at Anthropologie a few years ago, but I think they still stock them. I found the nightstands at a local thrift shop and the bedding is a mixture of vintage finds and Anthro. My window covering is a bed skirt I found on sale at Anthro, that I still need to line and sew into curtains. For the most part I reused what I had, the paint cost around $40 and the nightstands $40 for the pair...under $100 for my new bedroom!

I was at Urban Ore in Berkeley. I actually did buy one of the Tamalpais signs, but there was one left last week, good luck!

hi all!
The elephant on the swing is actually part of a mobile in my son's room...

The sweet elephant towel was a gift that a friend made for me...I think the fabric was ordered on etsy:)

Elephants Abroad: A Dispersed Collection

Hi all, thanks for the comments!
-The peacock pillows I made from a vintage tunic & the floral pillow was a vintage runner...both were stained, so I thought I'd give them a new purpose.
-I found the vintage map of Marin County at a yard sale.
-The original finish on this vintage bed was peeling in many places, so the fresh coat of paint seemed like the best solution.

Oofta! Thank you for all the kind comments!
We poured our hearts into this tiny little cottage, I'm so happy you like it.
A lot of the textiles are DIY projects made from Anthropologie linens...napkins made into pillowcases, bedskirts into duvets, rugs into throw pillows...the quilts are Anthro sale finds. We also stock some of the linens at Splendid Little Shoppe and Beach House Style.
