one great place to check out is Irmas in downtown, not Irmas Southwest (owned by her son). Its a great Tex-Mex Restaurant that has a really special lemonade that is bottomless. The food is also pretty good as well. It ranges on the higher in price for mexican restaurants , but you can't beat the atmosphere as well as the hospitality. Irma herself plays Hostess.

Also @Sara ATL, I think "All-Clad or Nothing" is a company slogan as everytime I have seen a commercial for them that seems to be the tagline, so I think he meant that jokingly.

@DRGARYLGREEN, I just came back from Europe and I swear that I saw a Nespresso bag almost every 2 minutes walking in the pedestrian malls. It is not unusual to pay such large sums for things that people really enjoy and that is not to say that he does not use other grounds. Just because the espresso make is by Nespresso does not mean that he uses it exclusively.

Hmmm... I have only heard them referred as bucatini pasta but I am sure that perciatelli is another synonym. I always just salt lightly as oversalting tends to make all the pastas that I prepare overly salty.

I would recommend a color that would juxtapose nicely with the gold in a solid color because you don't want to clash with the detail of the base. So I would recomment a rich purple or indigo drum shade.

notice the faint appearance of a glass sheet separating the balcony from the edge and the small white bracket on the side of the wall by the window holding it in place. Sorry upon writing this I realized it could be taken misconstrued as snarky. I did not intend the comment to be that way. just pointing it out.

mmmm... Just made bitter melon and beef with a black bean oyster garlic sauce yesterday. The more bitter, the better. My grandmother used to quickly blanch them and spinkled them with vinegar and sesame oil.

As I recall, Coffee is acidic and causes the soy milk to curdle. Being Chinese, we would often order salty soy milk and put in vinegar, which would cause the soy milk to curdle. The soy based creamer may have a stabilizer for this purpose.

Hot Chocolate seems to be a little to rich for me so if I want something slightly richer, I do a dark red tea with some milk and rock sugar syrup. it's pretty much the Taiwanese bubble tea without the tapioca and hot. Pretty tasty and it doesn't have that over creamy aftertaste.

@amt230
I just recovered my DCM chairs with my own fabric after removing the piping, however I have no idea what to use to glue back on the piping and how to make the ends meet back up (i.e. keeping a nice tight fit). Any suggestions would be great, thanks.
