Personally, I think you have enough art work around the angled wall. Perhaps painting it a lighter shade of green or experiment with color or a pattern. Also (I can't see the entire room) that big mirror looks way out of place where it is. I'm just thinking and looking fast right now, but maybe strips of mirror or a painted diamond pattern--like an argyle sweater. Turquoise or sea blues might mix in well with the green. I had an attic apt. that was marvelous with all the A frame walls and a girlfriend of mine had the angled wall in her bathroom, which she put a big mirror on and it looked fab.(I think it was over the sink area) How to Hang Artwork on the Ceiling? Keller's butter? Born and raised on a dairy farm way up in the catskills (250-300 head). We made fresh butter plus and I don't know if the color has anything to do with it. We had beautiful hand churned butter a lovely pale yellow. I think it all depends on your taste buds. Recipe: Real Irish Scones |

Very cool! But you need space to accomodate the length of the bike. Mine has to hang. Bike Shelf by Chris Brigham Knife & Saw |

Give me a break! Come into the real neighborhoods, inner Jersey City for one, where people don't have cars to get anywhere. Mostly Asian markets exist, but the prices are way up there. $4.50 for a pint of black, blue, red berries??$7.00 for a jar of Hellman's mayonnaise?? See those unmistakenly orange chairs? I sat on them every day my life, living in my parents house. There are 2 (more if u want) with large sides and flowing armrests. They are all very comfortable. My mom liked orange-she knew how to use it.At our summer home, mom had this big, orange leather couch, under the frosted glass slat windows you turn the handle to open and close. The walls were a margin, the glass slat windows and a margin. That orange leather couch was cool. I'm 53, I remember having that couch up to 1970. Must-Have Hutches |

Yes, I have hats. Yes, I store them. Preferably in hat boxes;I have no problem with styrofoam heads and YES I would display them. At one time, I had a matching hat for every suit.(That was alot 'a hats). Now I just need to find THE place for them, perhaps some of my beautiful paisley scarfs can be hung underneat them. It's a plan and a project. I have one room I use as closet, because I smoke and DO NOT want my coats, clothes, hats, gloves, etc. to smell like cigaratte smoke. This is, I believe, the place. I will have been here 2 yrs. this Jan.,so I still have some stuff to do ,but, thanks to you, my brain is ticking. Hats on Parade: Displaying Hats in the Home |

I just can't believe it! My sister had almost the same flooring. but in a Dutch print, I have the same table wth 4 chairs and I couldn't,for the life of me, figure out what o do with old wooden boxes I retrived from an old candy store that closed on my block. I meanthis old place had candy and soda written on the window panes--I tried to get the workers to not break them but........But I got a stack of old wooden fruit crates with the old highly colorful and decorative paper still perfectly intact on them. One, a beautiful peacock, another with young girl eating a peach from Colorado, one with Daily Bartlett peaches from CO.;some have the price of the fruit on them, written in pencil $.28/lb. I just moved into a four room apt. with absolutely no cabinet space for ALL my bakeware and accessories AND THIS IS A GREAT IDEA! Not onlycan I show off this old wooden crates with their art work, but I will have storage place (envious at that). Thank you for all your ideas and suggestions. One will never know what one will find if we just slow down and take a look. This idea has really made me excited. Thank you as I will now have a perfect showplace for these old wooden crates---storage shelves included! Wine Crates as Shelving In Action Moon In My Garden |
