I highly recommend visiting you local Restore by Habit for Humanity. We buy a lot of doors there.
I don't think we've paid more than 25.00 for each. merely lifted the old door off the hinges & slid the new one on. It was so easy and not labor intense.

Bravo ! Excellent! The color is wonderful.How did you decide? Thats half my problem-deciding on color. I wish I had patience for that too. Right now my budget has the patience for ugly.
I too am a soffit hater. What a waste of wall board and paint. I've always thought they were ugly & useless.

The outside of this place looks like somewhere where people are incarcerated. I'm calling it the asylum. Inside is an improvement if you can put up with all the lack of color.

Love the gold.It reminds me of old Hollywood. I even like the wallpaper which is rare that I like one.The Laundry room is my fave (never thought I 'd say that)it looks so fresh. Other than that its a grandma fest.

The only "Art" I could live with was the second photo. Just because you have art (inherited or cheap) doesn't mean you should hang it. Creative editing makes art stand out instead of looking like a jumbled mess.

I like the crisp cleanness of the bathroom. I also like those green curtains in the eat-in kitchen. Those two rooms are my faves since they are the most uncluttered. I like the colors of the bedroom too.
Can you have too much framed stuff going on? Yes its possible.
Oh and wallpaper is of the devil.
