I haven't used any of the things on the list except sterilisers, which I believe are necessary for silicone teats till the baby is 1 year old? At least that's what the pead said here. Also, I guess the place you stay in makes a difference. Like I live in Dubai, and I know I'd never need a gate in my 2 bhk apartment, but I wouldn't be comfortable not sterilising the bottles given the amount of dust there is in this city. But each to his own.

We have the Samsonite Pop-up bubble. Pretty good even without the inflatable mattress that you need to buy separately.

OMG, is it normal to see that last foto of Gavin in the chair and start crying? At 9 months preggers, I don't care if it is normal :D

Hormotional me!

Since I come from a culture where co-sleeping is a given, my sister got a bed made that was HUGE and fit for her, my brother in law, her two n half year old AND an 8 month old :) The kid slept in their crib right next to the bed till they were around 6-8 month old and then moved over to the bed.

When we went to India for vacations, I would always be asked by my mom to fold the sheets, make the bed etc. One of the nicest things I learnt from her was to give some extra money to the maid/driver. After all, extra houseguests means extra work for them!
